Founder and CEO

Joe graduated as his high school valedictorian with perfect or near perfect scores on the SAT, SAT IIs (predecessors of SAT Subject Tests), and Advanced Placement Examinations.  He was named a National Merit Scholar, an honor achieved by far fewer than 1% of high school seniors in the United States annually.  In addition, Joe was named an Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction and received many college scholarships on academic merit.

After high school, Joe attended Brown University and excelled in and out of the classroom, including in teaching part of a course for the university.  He graduated at the top of his class at Brown, magna cum laude.  Furthermore, he was elected to the prestigious honor society Phi Beta Kappa.  Only about 10% of his class at Brown achieved this recognition.

Following successful corporate experience, Joe earned a master's degree in teaching.  He is a New Jersey certified teacher, endorsed for both general education and special education, and received a perfect score on his certification examination.  Joe has completed extensive post-master's coursework through Rutgers University's Graduate School of Education.  His experience includes his work as a seasoned interviewer—and recently as a local chair—for the Office of College Admission at Brown University.
